What does DYO mean?

1. DYO is named for Dionysus the Greek God of wine, party, theater and unique plants. He was tired of people being left out for not drinking alcohol so he created DYO. No one has to be left out of the party anymore!

2. DYO  refers to “Do Your Own- Thing” meaning you can be out with friends who drink alcohol and that’s ok, because you have DYO with you. They can drink and you “do your own thing” and have a great time together with DYO.

3. DYO is also a symbol for those of us struggling with alcohol addiction. DYO means “Defy Your Odds”, because everyday you wake up and abstain from alcohol is another powerful day for you. Odds may be against you, but are defying that voice that is telling you to drink again. We are here for you! We know that having DYO in your pocket when you need it can change everything. You can say “NO” to having “just one" and instead mix up a great tasting drink that helps you feel good and also be included at anytime. You can be proud of yourself and “Defy Your Odds” another day.

Screw paying $10-$15 for a mocktail that is just fruit juice with too much sugar! Non-alcoholic beer is great if you like the taste of beer, but that isn’t all of us.

We set out to make something you can take with you anywhere, that’s a lower cost, tastes great and gives you great effects.

We understand what most alcohol alternative companies don’t, where it is about being included and drinking something special when you want it. Our product being in powder stick means your special drink that makes you feel good is right there in your pocket or purse.

We have more fun! Everything about DYO comes with an understanding that we need to enjoy life more. When you stop drinking alcohol there is a feeling that you aren’t fun anymore. That isn’t true! Open, mix it up and enjoy. You can use 8-10oz of water or carbonated water depending on your preference.

The adaptogens and nootropics generally take affect after 15-30 minutes. Every ingredient was selected to help you feel great while either giving you energy to party all night or calm you so you can relax.
